Comrade Chuwang Yakubu Mango, popularly known as Chucks, has officially resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) to pursue his councillorship ambition in Chugwi Ward, Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Accompanied by his campaign structure, the Fatan Alheri Team, and a large number of supporters, Mr. Chucks was warmly received at the APC Ward Office in Chugwi. The defection marked a major shift in the ward’s political landscape and reflected his growing grassroots support.
Welcoming him, the APC Ward Chairman, Mr. David Tep, commended the decision and urged Mr. Chucks and his supporters to remain united, disciplined, and committed to the party’s ideals for the development of the community.
In his remarks, Mr. Chucks thanked the party leadership and stakeholders for the warm reception, assuring them of his loyalty and readiness to work collectively for the success of the APC. He said his aspiration is driven by a desire to promote peace, unity, and sustainable development in Chugwi.
The event ended with renewed optimism as APC members pledged their support for Mr. Chucks’ councillorship ambition and the party’s progress in the ward.
