President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commissioned a 30.58-kilometre section of the Abuja–Kaduna–Zaria–Kano Road in Kano State, covering the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital–Karfi axis and parts of Kunkumi.

The section forms part of the 118-kilometre project under Sections I and III.

The Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, and members of the presidential community engagement team attended the commissioning.

Dr Abiodun Essiet, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Community Engagement (North Central), commended Tinubu for prioritising infrastructure development and Umahi for his role in advancing federal road projects.

She said the project reflected the administration’s commitment to infrastructure development under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

The road project is among the Federal Government’s interventions aimed at improving transportation and supporting economic activities across the region.
