Dr Abiodun Essiet has extended business support to selected members of the Bwari community in the Federal Capital Territory, giving each beneficiary ₦50,000 to support their businesses.

The support was announced during a sensitisation programme organised by the Yoruba FCT Forum for Asiwaju in Bwari Area Council as part of activities ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The programme brought together Yoruba community leaders, traditional rulers, stakeholders and members of the community to discuss civic participation and grassroots engagement.

Speaking at the event, Essiet, convener of the forum, highlighted the importance of grassroots involvement and outlined key achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Essiet also discussed the administration’s policies and its stated ambition to move Nigeria from economic reforms to prosperity.

The ₦50,000 grants were a major highlight of the gathering, providing selected beneficiaries with financial assistance to sustain or expand their businesses.

The event ended with participants expressing their commitment to continued community engagement and support for the Renewed Hope Agenda and the All Progressives Congress ahead of the 2027 general elections.
