Prominent political leaders and stakeholders gathered to celebrate the 80th birthday of former Plateau State Governor, Da Senator Jonah David Jang, at his residence in Du, Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Among those in attendance were Senator Simon Bako Lalong, Senator Simon Mwadkwon, Arc. Samuel Nanchang Jatau, Ngo Sarah Reng Ochepe, Hon. Yakubu Jang, Chief Kefas Ropshik, Dr. Jim Pam Wayas, Rt. Hon. Joyce Lohya Ramnap, Dr. Gyang Bere, and Alhaji Sani Mu’azu, alongside several other dignitaries from within and outside Plateau State.
Other guests present included Prof. Danladi Atu, Engr. Luka Davou, Hon. Hitler Joshua Pwajok, Hon. Silas Patrick Dung, Barr. John Kyohroh Christopher, Mrs. Rita Kachollom Pam, Arc. Hart Bankat, Hon. Samuel Dapiya, Hon. Dan Manjang, and Pharm. Chun John, among many other political associates, business leaders, and stakeholders who came to celebrate the elder statesman.
The event attracted political allies, business leaders, and key stakeholders who came to honour the elder statesman and celebrate his contributions to the political and socio-economic development of Plateau State and Nigeria at large.
Guests were thrilled by performances from the Lucky Star Band, the Asharuwa International Dancers, and Arin Izere, which added colour and excitement to the birthday celebration.
The celebration was not only to mark his 80th birthday but also to show the respect many people still have for him. Guests used the occasion to remember his years of leadership and his contributions to the development of Plateau State, while wishing him good health and many more years ahead.
