A frontline chairmanship aspirant in Langtang North, Hon. Daman Daniel Kura, has congratulated the newly re-elected Plateau State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Rufus Bature, following the party’s peaceful State Congress.

Kura also extended his felicitations to the State Secretary, Fidelis Longban, and other members of the State Executive Committee (EXCO), describing their victory as well-deserved and a reflection of their dedication to the party.

In a statement made available to journalists, Kura said the outcome of the congress demonstrates the hard work, commitment, and loyalty of the party leadership to the APC and the people of Plateau State. According to him, the renewed mandate will further strengthen the party’s structure and position it for greater achievements.

He expressed confidence that the leadership of Hon. Rufus Bature would take the party to greater heights and consolidate efforts aimed at building a stronger and more united APC in the state.

The chairmanship aspirant also commended the Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, for what he described as his foresight and leadership in ensuring that credible individuals emerge to move the party forward. He noted that the governor’s guidance has played a significant role in shaping the APC’s progress in the state.

Kura further appreciated the National Chairman of the APC, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe, and members of the National Working Committee for their unwavering support and commitment to the growth and development of the party across the country.

He described the national leadership as a driving force behind the party’s success, adding that their support has strengthened the APC’s internal democracy and unity.

Addressing fellow contestants, Kura urged them to accept the outcome of the congress in good faith and rally behind the newly elected EXCO members. He emphasized the need to set aside differences and work collectively for the advancement of the party.

“To my fellow contestants, I urge you to join me in congratulating the winners and working together for the growth of our party,” he stated, stressing that unity remains key to the APC’s success.

He also pledged his full support and cooperation to the newly elected state executive, assuring them of his readiness to contribute meaningfully to the party’s development in Langtang North and Plateau State at large.

Kura concluded by congratulating the leadership once again and calling on party faithful to remain steadfast as the APC continues its drive toward progress and development in Plateau State.
