The Plateau State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Building (NIOB) has successfully concluded an intensive two-day capacity-building workshop for professional builders.

The specialized training on the theme: “Practical Preparation of Builders’ Documents for Efficient Construction Delivery,” focused on equipping participants with the modern skills and professional tools required for efficient construction project delivery.

Speaking during the workshop, the Chairman of the Planning Committee, Bldr. Mangai Tarzan Ahmadu, urged builders to embrace continuous learning and professional development.

He noted that the building sector is becoming increasingly competitive, making it necessary for professionals to constantly update their knowledge to meet industry expectations.

Bldr. Ahmadu commended the participants, describing their presence as a strong demonstration of commitment to their personal and professional growth.

“The building environment is becoming more competitive and more demanding. Therefore, you need to prove yourself worthy in order to be relevant,” he said.

Bldr. Wang encouraged participants to continue learning beyond the workshop by consistently engaging with the training materials and professional development opportunities.

“We will continue to create opportunities for learning and professional development, and I encourage members to take advantage of every platform available to improve their knowledge and skills,” she said.
