The immediate past Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party and Inter-Advisory Council (IPAC) in Plateau State, Hon. Chris Hassan, on Friday, said that massive participation in the ongoing e-registration of party members will create opportunities and strengthen the party.
Hassan made the remarks while registering his membership in the e-registration exercise in his hometown, Zagun, Bassa Local Government Area of the state.
“Massive participation in the ongoing exercise will open many ways and opportunities to members,” he said, adding, “it’s also a way for us to elect new state and national Assembly members and the Governor of the state in 2027.”
The ex-chairman called on all party members to remain loyal and steadfast, stressing that the e-registration exercise was not a routine party activity. He described it as the foundation and pillar on which members’ political strength, electoral victory, and internal democracy will stand.
E-REGISTRATION gives a verified, credible, digital membership register that will determine who votes in party primaries, who is recognized as a member, and who the party stands with during elections.
