Senator I. D. Gyang has congratulated Hon. Rufus Bature on his emergence as the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau State, alongside other newly elected executives of the party at the state, local government, and ward levels.
In a congratulatory message, the senator described Bature’s election as a clear demonstration of the confidence party members have in his leadership capacity and experience in public service.
He noted that Bature’s background as a legislator and public servant has equipped him with the necessary knowledge and skills required to guide the party toward greater unity and progress.
According to the senator, the responsibility before the new leadership of the party is significant, but it also presents a great opportunity to strengthen internal democracy and reposition the APC for better service to the people.
Gyang emphasized the need for the new chairman and his executive members to work toward building cohesion within the party while promoting collective participation among members across the state.
He also congratulated the entire State, Local Government, and Ward Executive Committee members who emerged from the congresses, describing their victories as a collective mandate to serve the party with dedication and sincerity.
The senator urged them to work harmoniously and selflessly in order to advance the goals and ideals of the APC while contributing to the development of Plateau State.
He expressed optimism that the new leadership would provide the strategic direction needed to strengthen the party’s structures at all levels.
Gyang further called on party members to support the newly elected executives in order to ensure stability and progress within the APC in Plateau State.
