Senator I. D. Gyang has expressed deep shock and profound sadness over the untimely passing of Engr. Pam Fidelis Gyang, a youth activist known for his selfless service and progressive vision. The late Engr. Gyang tragically lost his life in a fatal vehicle accident.
In a statement, Senator Gyang described Engr. Gyang as a resourceful, energetic, and innovative young leader whose life was dedicated to the service of others.
“He embodied uncommon dedication to service and progressivism,” the senator said. “His passion, courage, and forward-thinking ideals distinguished him as a voice of hope and a beacon of positive change for his generation.”
According to the senator, Engr. Gyang always placed the collective good above personal interest, generously offering his time, strength, and intellect to causes that benefited society.
The senator noted that the sudden loss is not only a personal tragedy for his family but also a significant blow to the youth constituency and wider society, which had greatly benefited from his activism.
“Though his life was brief, his impact was profound,” Senator Gyang said. “His legacy will continue to inspire many young people to live purposefully and selflessly.”
He extended heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, colleagues, and the entire youth constituency, praying for God’s comfort and strength to bear the loss.
