President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has postponed his planned visit to Iperu, Ogun State, to begin a four-state tour with a condolence visit to Plateau State.

The President will travel to Jos, the Plateau State capital, to sympathise with the government and people over recent gun attacks that claimed the lives of innocent citizens.

His visit comes amid renewed concern over security challenges in parts of the state.

From Plateau, President Tinubu will proceed to Lagos, where he is expected to observe the Good Friday solemnity.

On Saturday, April 4, the President will travel to Ogun State for the commissioning of the Gateway International Cargo Airport.

He will also inaugurate two commercial aircraft meant to boost import and export activities and enhance economic growth in the state.

During the Ogun visit, President Tinubu will further commission the new Federal Operations Unit edifice of the Nigerian Customs Service, along with its operational vehicles.

After the Ogun engagements, the President will return to Lagos to continue the Easter holiday.

While in Lagos, he is expected to commission key infrastructure projects executed by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration.

These projects include the Ojota/Opebi Link Bridge, the Lagos State Geographic Information System Building, a Multi-Agency Complex named after the President, and a new school complex.

The President will later travel to Bayelsa State on April 10 to commission projects completed by Governor Duoye Diri before returning to Abuja.
