Mighty Jets have been relegated from the 2025/2026 Nigeria National League (NNL) season after finishing at the bottom of Conference C with 16 points from 14 matches.
The Jos-based club endured a difficult campaign marked by inconsistency and missed opportunities, which ultimately led to their drop to the National League One (NLO).
Despite showing late promise, Mighty Jets’ 2-1 home victory over FC Basira on the final matchday was not enough to secure survival.
The win offered a brief glimmer of hope, but results elsewhere confirmed their relegation as the season came to a close.
Throughout the campaign, the team struggled to maintain form, dropping crucial points that could have helped them remain in the league.
Their relegation signals a need for rebuilding as the club prepares for life in the lower division next season.
Meanwhile, Doma FC topped Conference C with 26 points to secure promotion, despite losing their final match 3-1 to Kada Warriors.
NNL Chairman George Aluo praised the smooth completion of the conference and expressed optimism about the continued development of the league.
