Nigerian rapper Jesse Jagz has expressed concern over the rising insecurity in Jos. He shared his thoughts on X, formerly known as Twitter, reflecting on how the city has changed over the years.
The artist recalled a time when Jos was known for peace and tourism, noting that the situation today is very different. His comments highlight growing fears among residents over safety in the area.
In his words, “You fit not believe me, but once upon a time, Jos na one of the most peaceful states for Nigeria.”
He further stated, “E even dey the state slogan “Home of Peace and Tourism”
Expressing sadness over the current situation, Jesse Jagz added, “But today? Terrorists don turn am to “Home of Blood and Tears”.
