Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, has sworn in three newly appointed Commissioners into the State Executive Council, charging them to justify the confidence reposed in them.

The new Commissioners are Hon. Ishaku Maren Yobo from Bokkos, Prof. Gloria Samuel from Bassa, and Comrade Prince Miaphen from Qua’anpan Local Government Areas.

The swearing-in ceremony was held at the New Government House, Little Rayfield, Jos.

Mutfwang described the appointments as part of his administration’s efforts to strengthen and reposition the machinery of government for effective service delivery.

He urged the new Commissioners to bring competence, fresh ideas and commitment to their respective assignments.

“You must see these appointments not merely as positions of honour, but as a call to greater responsibility, dedication and service to the people of Plateau State,” the governor said.

Mutfwang also disclosed that the Secretary to the State Government would release new postings to ministries.

He directed affected officials to ensure proper and effective handover, while charging the new Commissioners to work towards advancing the development agenda of the administration.
