Today will be recorded as a memorable Day to Jos Music Icon and the “Dyam Ryat” Crooner, Delleh Habila Pam popularly known by his stage name “Dex Dee” of Nerat Empire as he was presented with a Toyota Verso Car as gift by a Jos-based Philanthropist and Ex-Custom Officer, Da Gyang Dudu Dalyop the President Berom Educational and Cultural Organization (BECO) and the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Signature 58 Lounge Jos, Plateau State.
While presenting the Car to the Music Artiste, Da Gyang Dudu said the car gift was a token for his love and admiration of the Music and brand of the Artiste as well as to ease his transportation challenge.
He said the gift is his support to the entertainment industry in Berom land while praying for its growth and sustenance.
He said the gesture is to spur the Beneficiary to do more as the saying goes “to whom much is given, much is expected”
In his words “this gesture I believe this will spark up challenge in the minds of many of your contemporaries and peers to be able to live up to expectations.
“It’s my earnest desire that you will grow your brand in humility into amiable and enviable heights that will compete with other big names in the industry at home and in diaspora”
He admonished him to ensure he lift others up when he gets to the top.
He further averred that though they missed mentorship while growing up, that would not stop them from mentoring others to be better and accomplished than them.
He commended the Recipient who he said is doing well musically and has remain focused and consistent.
He said he is planting a seed and prayed that it will spurs the recipient to do more with his God-given talent to go far.
“You must not be rich before you give” he concluded.
The Chief Executive Officer of Nerat Empire, Da Pam Garba Kandi appreciated the Donor of the Car and prayed God to reward him immensely. He said Nerat Empire will not relent to ensure Dex Dee releases good songs and grow to be the best in the State and beyond.
Edward Gyang in his brief remarks described the Donor as a Lover of young Persons with progression mindset saying he didn’t stop his philanthropic gestures after retirement from the service of the Nigeria Customs Service.
“It is a seed being sown and I am positive that the Beneficiary will one day present gifts of cars to others” he said.
Earlier in his goodwill message, Da Chollom Gyang the Secretary General of BECO said an individual who is not the richest has yielded himself to be used by God to unexpectedly bless the Music Icon, Dex Dee with a Car. He urged the Recipient to remain focused, consistent and put his talents to good use at all times to glorify God while entertaining People.
A visibly excited and fulfilled Dex Dee who could not hide his joy expressed gratitude to the Donor for identifying with him and always supporting his talent. He said the gesture will spur him to do more in adding value to the music industry.
He appreciated Da Dudu for the kind gesture and promised not to derail but push harder to be a mentor to others and also present others with similar gifts in the future.
