Nigerian rapper Ice Prince has opened up about the impact relationships had on his finances, admitting that he spent money on women and experiences he now believes were unnecessary.
Speaking candidly about his past, the rapper said he made several decisions in relationships that, in hindsight, he might have handled differently.
“I’ve spent money on women I shouldn’t have. Just like every young man, I’ve done some things maybe I shouldn’t have,” he said.
Ice Prince revealed that during the peak of his career, he often went the extra mile for women he was dating, including paying for international trips.
“I’ve flown some women to countries I shouldn’t have. Spent on some ridiculous stuff, out of love and out of being in relationships,” he stated.
According to the rapper, he has always enjoyed taking care of his partners and never hesitated to spend on someone he genuinely cared about.
“If I’m in a relationship with a woman, I like to take care of her. I’ve been in relationships with women that have high taste,” he explained.
Reflecting on those experiences, Ice Prince said some of the relationships were serious enough that he believed they would eventually lead to marriage, adding, “I’ve had some amazing relationships that I thought were going to lead to marriage. I’m a lover boy.”
