The Plateau State Chapter of the Performing Musicians Employers’ Association of Nigeria (PMAN) has stepped in to address concerns surrounding a controversial event being promoted in Jos.
A flyer circulating on social media advertises a “Girls Wild Nite House Party” scheduled for November 29, 2025, at Avocado Apartment. The event, presented by Bhee-Lieve Cre8Hauz in collaboration with Yardiez Liquor World, lists features including strippers and live sex performance, with categories of tickets ranging from ₦5,000 for regular to ₦250,000 for the diamond package.
Reacting to the inclusion of “live sex performance” on the lineup, PMAN Governor Gabriel Hodus, popularly known as Elmore, strongly warned against allowing such an activity within Jos. He said he would ensure that no publicly advertised live sex act takes place in the city under any guise.
According to him, entertainment events are welcome, but no organiser should openly promote acts that violate public decency standards. He insisted that the organisers remove the “live sex” segment if they want the event to proceed without obstruction.
Elmore maintained that PMAN supports creativity, nightlife, and the entertainment economy, but will not allow any activity capable of breaching moral and legal boundaries to be promoted in Plateau State.
The organisers have not yet issued a public response to PMAN’s position.
