The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) is considering the revival of cargo lifting operations from Plateau airport.
This was revealed by Ikechi Uko, the Coordinator of the Aviation Cargo Roadmap Development Committee, during a fact-finding meeting.
Uko mentioned that Plateau State is a prime location for airport cargo business due to its agricultural potential.
He also emphasized that a functioning airport cargo operation in Plateau would contribute to an increase in Nigeria’s export revenue, stating that if only this airport becomes active in exporting, it would be beneficial for the country.
