Rt. Hon. Fom Gwottson, popularly known as “Banga by Nature,” has officially received his Certificate of Return as Candidate for Plateau North Senate from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the party’s National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Abuja.
The presentation of the certificate, dated June 24, 2026, marks a major milestone in the political career of the former Deputy Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly and further strengthens his position ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking after receiving the certificate, Gwottson described the moment as a reflection of the confidence reposed in him by the party and the people.
“The receipt of this certificate is a clear testament to the confidence and trust reposed in my leadership, vision, and commitment to the people,” he said.
He noted that the certificate represents a renewed responsibility to continue advocating for the welfare of the people and promoting policies that will improve their lives.
“It signifies the beginning of a renewed mandate to continue championing the cause of the masses and advancing people-oriented policies,” Gwottson stated.
The PDP chieftain expressed optimism about the future, assuring supporters that he remains committed to providing purposeful and inclusive leadership.
“I remain steadfast, focused, and prepared for the task ahead. With the overwhelming support of party faithful, supporters, and the good people I seek to represent, I stand ready to emerge victorious in the 2027 general elections,” he added.
