The Plateau Man of the Year Awards (PMYA) has announced that the grand finale of its 11th edition will not only celebrate outstanding leadership and service but will also feature the unveiling of the Face of Plateau, a segment designed to showcase the identity, culture, and pride of Plateau State.

The grand finale, scheduled to hold on Sunday, 8th February 2026, at the Usiju World Events Centre, Jos, will mark the climax of activities lined up for PMYA @ 11, a special edition coinciding with Plateau State’s 50th anniversary.

According to the organisers, the Face of Plateau initiative is aimed at highlighting individuals who embody the values, heritage, creativity, and resilience of the Plateau people, while promoting unity and positive representation of the state on a broader platform.

The award ceremony will bring together government officials, traditional rulers, captains of industry, professionals, creatives, and youth leaders, all converging to honour men, women, and institutions whose contributions have driven social, economic, and community development across Plateau State.

The PMYA 2026 grand finale will be held under the theme “The Convergence of Excellence – Building Legacies, Inspiring Generations,” reinforcing the vision of celebrating enduring impact while inspiring responsible leadership for the future.

Organisers explained that the inclusion of the Face of Plateau in the grand finale adds a cultural and symbolic dimension to the event, complementing the leadership-focused awards and reflecting Plateau State’s rich diversity.

With heightened anticipation across the state, the organisers assured that the 11th Plateau Man of the Year Awards will deliver a memorable evening of celebration, recognition, and inspiration, befitting the golden milestone of Plateau State and the legacy of PMYA.
