The Plateau Bloggers and Online Media Association (PLABOMA) has intensified awareness ahead of the 2026 World Social Media Day celebration, calling on youths and digital creators to take advantage of the free event.
The programme is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, June 30, by 9:00 a.m. at the Usiju World Event Center near the Plateau State Secretariat, Jos.
Holding under the theme “Digital Voices: Innovation, Creativity and Youth Engagement,” the event is expected to attract bloggers, social media influencers, entrepreneurs, youth leaders, students and media professionals.
Organisers said participants will engage in discussions on innovation in digital media, responsible social media usage, content creation and opportunities within the digital economy.
The event is also expected to provide a platform for networking, collaboration and knowledge sharing among stakeholders committed to advancing digital innovation in Plateau State.
PLABOMA encouraged interested participants to register and attend, assuring that the programme would inspire and empower young people to harness social media for positive impact.
