No fewer than 1,400 newly recruited operatives of Operation Rainbow have successfully completed their training and passed out in Jos, Plateau State.

The passing-out parade was held at the Zaria Road Stadium, Jos, and attracted top government officials, security chiefs, and community leaders from across the state.

Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, who reviewed the parade, commended the operatives for their discipline and resilience throughout the rigorous training period.

He described their graduation as a major boost to Plateau State’s security architecture, stressing that security remains a top priority of his administration.

The Governor urged the operatives to discharge their duties with professionalism, courage, and respect for human rights, reminding them that they are partners in law enforcement, not above the law.

He emphasized that Operation Rainbow operates under the supervision of conventional security agencies, including the Army, Police, and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.

Governor Mutfwang noted that the operatives were drawn from all 17 local government areas of the state, reflecting inclusiveness across religion and ethnicity.

He assured residents that the outfit was created to protect all law-abiding citizens and not to witch-hunt any group or individual.

The Governor also pledged continuous training, improved welfare, and adequate logistical support to enable the operatives perform effectively.

He called on Plateau residents to cooperate with Operation Rainbow by providing timely information and reporting suspicious activities to security agencies.
