The University of Jos has honored Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos, the former representative of Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency, as its ambassador in recognition of his outstanding support for education.
In a statement issued by Mr Dafwan Danja Yaks, the Special Adviser Media and Publicity to Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos contained that the former lawmaker was celebrated for his contributions, including awarding scholarships to UniJos students and providing infrastructure within the institution. The honor was bestowed during the 40th-anniversary dinner and award night of the University of Jos printing press.
In his acceptance speech, Hon. Bagos expressed gratitude to the university and reaffirmed his commitment to empowering the next generation of leaders. “Service is a calling that we all must respond to, and I am dedicated to serving in any capacity I am called upon,” he stated.
