In other to improve the growth of crops, and increase in harvesting farm produce of his constituents, Hon. Sani A. Shilak popularly known as Golden has donated over 200 Bags of fertilizer to His constituents.
Hon. Sani who is A Member representing Mangu North – East in Plateau State House of Assembly earlier today met with the traditional rulers and some stakeholders in his constituency to show his profound gratitude for his victory at the polls.
While addressing the constituents, Hon. Sani explained that his purpose of the meeting with the traditional rulers and stakeholders was to appreciate them and also to receive their blessings.
“I am here to thank you for my victory at the polls, sympathise with you over the recent killings and, to receive your blessings to enable me succeed as your representative in the house of assembly”.
The lawmaker regretted that he had no opportunity to meet them immediately after his inauguration as a result of the unfortunate happenings that occurred in Mangu LGA.
Hon. Sani Golden admonished the attendees to be peace ambassadors as it is the only way to attract development. He also told the gathering that His Excellency Barr. Caleb Mutfwang is doing his best to ensure peace is returned in Mangu LGA and Plateau at large. He enjoined them to key into the peace processes initiated by the governor and the security agencies in the state.
Also speaking, Hon. Cornelius Doeyok Member Quanpan South State Constituency PLHA, expressed happiness over what Hon. Sani Golden has done thereby, touching the lives of his constituents in divers ways.
While responding, the District Head of Panyam Da Aminu Derwam described Hon. Sani Golden as the proverbial golden fish that has no hiding place in Mangu LGA as he has distinguished himself as one who is passionate about the welfare of people devoid of tribe, party or religion
Other speakers who spoke showered accolades on the lawmaker and likened him to the wise among ten lepers in the Bible who returned to give thanks after their healing.
On the lawmaker’s entourage were Hon. Haruna Yilson, former deputy Chairman, Mangu LGA, Mr. Adams Maimako Mishkaham Mwaghavul Enugu, PDP Chairman Mangu LGA, Elder Rafi DG, Golden Mandate Campaign Mangu North East, Dr. Zechariah Kuden among others.
Highlight of the event was the handing over of bags of fertilizer to beneficiaries.
