President Bola Tinubu has announced the appointment of Mr. Daser David as the new President and Chief Executive Officer of the Digital Bridge Institute (DBI). This significant appointment underscores the President’s commitment to strengthening Nigeria’s digital infrastructure and educational leadership.

The appointment was announced by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity, on August 20, 2024. The President expressed confidence that Mr. David will bring his expertise and vision to further the development of digital education in Nigeria.

Mr. Daser David brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He previously served as the Director General of the Plateau Information and Communications Technology Development Agency (PICTDA), where he played a pivotal role in advancing the state’s digital initiatives. Under his leadership, PICTDA became a key driver of technological innovation in Plateau State.

In addition to his role at PICTDA, Mr. David is also the CEO of nHub, a renowned IT center in Plateau State. nHub is recognized for its contributions to the tech ecosystem, providing training, resources, and support to startups and tech enthusiasts. His leadership at nHub has solidified his reputation as a leader in the Nigerian tech industry.

With his deep understanding of digital technologies and proven track record in leadership, Mr. David is expected to lead the Digital Bridge Institute in achieving its strategic goals. His appointment is seen as a strategic move to ensure that DBI continues to play a central role in Nigeria’s digital transformation.
