Music ministers Sarauniya Mamalash, Abel Namadi, Ezra Jinang, Living Scroll, Reality Brothers, Mizzie Adams and Arin Izere, alongside other gospel artistes, thrilled guests at Grace Fest, a worship event that brought together entertainers, music lovers and worshippers from across Plateau State.

Held at Crispan Hotel, Yakubu Gowon Hall, Jos, under the theme, “Grace and Mercy,” the event featured inspiring musical performances, praise and worship, providing an opportunity for participants to reflect on God’s love, faithfulness and unmerited favour.

The convener of Grace Fest, Mrs Elizabeth Lashom, popularly known as Sarauniya Mamalash, described the gathering as a significant milestone in her music ministry, expressing gratitude to God for the opportunity to bring worshippers and music lovers together for the celebration.

She particularly commended her husband for his unwavering support and encouragement throughout her music career, noting that his commitment had played an important role in her journey. She also appreciated the participating music ministers, guests, supporters and organising team for their contributions to the success of the event.

Other entertainers who added colour to the event included Ngo Biki, PJ Mystic, Nenfort Dijanas and Freeman Fanatic, whose performances further enriched the atmosphere of praise, worship and celebration.

Speaking on the theme, the Presiding Pastor of Grace Dimensional Ministry, Rev. Dr. Maseke Daniels, urged Christians to recognise their dependence on God’s grace and mercy, stressing that no one is perfect or sufficient by personal ability alone.

He explained that grace represents a special ability and divine capacity given by God to accomplish what would otherwise be beyond human ability, enabling individuals to achieve extraordinary things through divine empowerment.

According to him, “Grace is simply special ability, divine capacity. Grace means that somebody has been given an ability to do something that another person has not done.”

On mercy, Daniels described it as God’s compassion and forgiveness, particularly when individuals fall short of expectations. He noted that people often struggle with hidden shortcomings, including envy, hatred, jealousy and anger, which require constant repentance and God’s intervention.

He called on Christians to embrace humility, seek God’s mercy daily and demonstrate genuine love and support for one another, warning against division, condemnation and hostility within the body of Christ. He stressed the need for believers to recognise their own imperfections rather than judge others.

The event concluded with a renewed emphasis on the importance of God’s grace and mercy in the Christian journey, while encouraging believers to strengthen their bonds of fellowship and uphold the values of love, humility and unity.
