The 11th Jos National Trade Fair has taken another dimension with the Mega Arewa Festival, which brought people together for cultural displays, entertainment and social interaction.

The festival has added fresh energy to the event, complementing the growing commercial activities as more exhibition pavilions emerge and young entrepreneurs showcase their products and services.

The existing pavilions, including PLASCHEMA, PLASMIDA, ANISTA and Afresh, have been joined by new exhibitors such as Smash and Stack Fast Food, Scent by Maryam Custom, Jam Jam Enterprise and Art and Urban Nigeria, among others.

Youth vendors have also taken advantage of the platform to promote their brands, engage customers and explore business opportunities.

Some exhibitors and participants commended Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang for providing an enabling environment for businesses and young entrepreneurs to participate in the exhibition.

The Back to the Root Concert, featuring music and dance, was among the entertainment activities that attracted young people, while a talent hunt provided an opportunity for emerging performers to showcase their abilities.

The winner of the talent hunt is expected to receive a ₦250,000 cash prize sponsored by Mrs Bolcit Barshep Amakiri, Vice President of the Plateau State Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (PLACCIMA).
