Plateau State Governor, Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has approved the appointment of new Special Advisers and Honorary Advisers as part of efforts to strengthen governance and improve service delivery in the state.

The appointments, announced by the Secretary to the Government of the State, Arc. Samuel N. Jatau, take immediate effect.

According to the statement, the appointments are aimed at strengthening the administration’s governance architecture and deepening policy implementation across the state.

“The new appointees bring diverse expertise, professional experience and institutional knowledge which the administration considers valuable to the effective implementation of its development agenda,” the statement said.

The new Special Advisers include Panan Joro, Yonmi Dama, Sale Yipmong, Ibrahim Gani, Abdullahi Bako Busari, Isaac Arin, Arum Ajiji and Ventim Tyem Black.

Others listed include Nicholas Kumban Nanzing Daji, Nanbol Josiah Gomam, Winston Moses, Mwantity Gyang Yusuf, Garba Hassan, Nansel Christopher and Sylvester Bindol Wase.

The 11 Honorary Advisers include Prof. Sebastian Maimako, Hon. Emma Tuang, Hon. Pamson Dagyat, Dr. Philip Nyango, Hon. Peter Wwang Dung and Veronica Pwol.

Others are Mrs. Vou Dido, Hon. Dan Manjang, Chief Felix Adijere, Hon. Sam Goar and Hon. Ishaku Gotau.

Governor Mutfwang congratulated the appointees and urged them to regard their appointments as a call to greater responsibility and service to the people of Plateau State.

“He charges them to discharge their responsibilities with diligence, professionalism, integrity, accountability and a strong commitment to the collective interest of the State,” the statement added.

The governor also said future appointments would continue to be guided by competence, capacity, experience and the strategic requirements of effective governance and service delivery, as the administration works to advance its “Time Is Now” agenda.
