Panshak Christopher, popularly known as PK Wagba, is one of the emerging music artistes from Plateau State steadily making his mark with a sound inspired by life experiences, emotions and everyday realities.

Hailing from Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State, PK Wagba began his music career in 2016 and has since remained committed to developing his craft and building a distinct identity in the music industry.

The artiste, who is the Chief Executive Officer of Wagba Music, is also popularly referred to by his supporters as the “Wagba President.”

His musical journey started with the release of his debut single, “Hello.” Encouraged by the response from listeners, he followed it up with “Wagba,” a song that became a significant step in his career and helped introduce him to a wider audience in the city.

PK Wagba describes his style as authentic and versatile, with music that seeks to connect with listeners emotionally.

According to him, his sound is inspired by God as well as his personal experiences, including moments of happiness, sadness and pain.

“I’m glad to say God inspires my sound and life experience itself — happiness, sadness or pain,” he said.

His music also draws from relationships, everyday life and the experiences of people around him. These influences provide the stories and emotions that shape his songs.

For the artiste, however, the greatest reward comes from seeing people connect with his music.

He takes pride in watching listeners sing along, react to his songs and identify with the emotions expressed through his sound.

PK Wagba also acknowledges the influence of established musicians whom he considers genuine and authentic, saying their work continues to inspire him as he develops his own musical identity.

Having spent a decade in music, the Mangu-born artiste is now focused on expanding the Wagba Music brand and taking his sound to a wider audience.

With authenticity, versatility and storytelling at the centre of his craft, PK Wagba is gradually establishing himself as a voice to watch in Plateau’s growing music scene.
