Senator I. D. Gyang has felicitated with former Plateau State Governor, Senator Joshua Chibi Dariye, on his birthday anniversary, describing him as a compassionate leader, philanthropist and distinguished statesman.
Gyang, in a goodwill message, said Dariye’s legacy of service and generosity continued to resonate with the people of Plateau, particularly his contributions to education and the development of the state.
He said:
“As His Excellency Senator J. C. Dariye, former Governor of Plateau State, marks another birthday anniversary, I join his family, friends, associates, and countless admirers in celebrating a compassionate leader, humanist given to philanthropy, and a distinguished statesman.”
“Your legacy of service and generosity still resonates with the people, and your contributions to the growth and development of our dear state remain noticeable, particularly the establishment of key educational institutions, including Plateau State University, Bokkos.”
Gyang expressed optimism that the people of Plateau would continue to benefit from Dariye’s passion for their wellbeing and the development of the state and the nation.
“As you mark another year of God’s abundant grace, I am persuaded that our people will continue to benefit from your untiring passion in seeking their wellbeing and the betterment of our dear state and nation.”
He prayed for more fruitful years for the former governor, surrounded by his family and the people whose lives he had positively impacted.
“May the Lord grant you many more fruitful years, surrounded by the love of your family and the respect of the very many people whose lives you have impacted for good.”
