The Plateau State chapter of the Renewed Hope for Greater Nigeria (RHGN) on Friday intensified preparations for the 2027 general elections with the inauguration of its zonal coordinators and other state executives, charging them to embark on aggressive grassroots mobilisation to secure the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The inauguration, held at the group’s state office at Kalwa House in Jos, drew party supporters, stakeholders and members, who pledged to expand the Renewed Hope agenda across Plateau State through sustained mobilisation, advocacy and political engagement.

Speaking at the event, the State Coordinator of RHGN, Hon. Ayuba Dutse, said the inauguration marked the beginning of a coordinated campaign to unite party faithful and consolidate support for President Tinubu’s second-term bid.

He said the group’s vision was to build a formidable grassroots structure across the 17 local government areas of Plateau State and mobilise support for the APC ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

“Our vision is to mobilise and campaign for Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a sound victory in the 2027 election. Our objective is to take our message to the grassroots and unite APC members across the state,” Dutse said.

He urged the newly inaugurated executives to remain united, committed and focused, stressing that sincerity and teamwork would be critical to achieving the group’s objectives.

“We will only achieve meaningful success if we work together as one family. Victory for one is victory for all. United we stand, divided we fall,” he stated.

Dutse also cautioned members against distractions from other political support groups, assuring them of his commitment to work in synergy with all executives to deliver on the Renewed Hope agenda in Plateau State.

Responding on behalf of the newly inaugurated officials, the zonal coordinators pledged to deepen grassroots mobilisation across their respective zones and rally support for President Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.

The Zonal Coordinator for Plateau North, Rt. Hon. David Emmanuel Chomoshen, said the President’s achievements in security and economic reforms had earned him the support of many Nigerians, pledging to mobilise youths and stakeholders across the zone.

“The President has done well. We will mobilise our people to come out en masse and support his re-election so that he can continue making Nigeria greater,” Chomoshen said.

Also speaking, the Zonal Coordinator for Plateau Central, Mr. Enoch Damter, said the group would engage political leaders and grassroots stakeholders across the zone, insisting that effective mobilisation must begin at the ward level.

“Politics starts from the grassroots. Once we are able to mobilise the grassroots, we can achieve success at the state level. We will do our best to ensure President Tinubu returns in 2027,” he said.

The Zonal Coordinator for Plateau South, Mr. Sylvanus Walu, said the zone already had a functional structure and pledged to strengthen mobilisation efforts from the zonal level to the wards.

“We intend to mobilise more people and do everything expected of us to ensure the success of the Renewed Hope agenda,” Walu added.
