Residents of Kyan Rikkos and surrounding communities are set to benefit from a humanitarian outreach as GIST (Gain Through Insightful and Social Triumph), in collaboration with CYON St. Teresa’s Deanery, prepares to host a Community Services Outreach on July 18, 2026.
The initiative, scheduled to take place at St. Gabriel’s Parish, Kyan Rikkos, Jos, will provide free medical check-ups, including blood pressure and blood sugar tests, basic consultations, free haircuts, hair washing and dressing services, as well as free mending of clothes. Organizers say the outreach is aimed at promoting health, dignity, and community wellbeing.
Members of the public, volunteers, and well-wishers are encouraged to participate and support the programme. With the theme, “Healthy People. Stronger Community,” the organizers hope the event will strengthen community bonds while providing essential services to those in need.
