Renowned Nigerian rapper Jesse Jagz has spoken out against some musicians who promote gambling to their fans.
Jesse Jagz shared his views in a post on his official X page.
The rapper expressed concern about the harm gambling promotions are causing, especially to people who trust celebrities and musicians.
In his post, Jesse Jagz wrote, “The line between musicians and gambling promoters is getting blurry.” He warned that music and gambling are becoming dangerously mixed.
He also spoke about the pain many people face after losing money through betting. According to him, “I’m sure a lot of people are in pain this morning for losing their hard earned money.”
Jesse Jagz criticised musicians who mislead fans while promoting gambling platforms. He said, “Using fake bets you never made to entice people to loose their money is just evil.”
The rapper made it clear that such actions take advantage of innocent people who are only trying to survive.
He went further to strongly condemn gambling promotion by celebrities. Jesse Jagz stated, “There’s no difference between a drug dealer and a gambling promoter.”
