The Plateau State Government has announced the timetable for the interview and verification exercise for shortlisted candidates under the Human Capital Opportunities for Prosperity and Equity (HOPE) Project Teaching Component.
The Commissioner for Education, Dr. (Mrs.) Kachallom Gang, explained that the shortlisted applicants emerged from the Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted across the 17 Local Government Areas for the Basic Teachers Recruitment.
She urged all candidates who sat for the CBT to visit their Local Government Education Authorities (LGEAs), the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), the Office of the Head of Service, or the Ministry of Education to verify their status on the official shortlist.
Dr. Gang noted that candidates are expected to carefully note their serial numbers, as these will be required during accreditation at the interview centres. She also emphasized the need for applicants to present all relevant credentials, including their National Identification Number (NIN) and Bank Verification Number (BVN).

Southern Zone
Date: Monday, 8th December 2025
Venue: Jude Hotel, Shendam
Time: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The government encouraged applicants to arrive early and adhere to all guidelines issued by officials to ensure a smooth and orderly screening process.
