The much-anticipated De Amazon Road Waka 4.0 lived up to expectations as hundreds of fitness enthusiasts stormed the streets of Jos for the 15-kilometre walk aimed at promoting health, unity, and wellness.
Organized by Jennifer Okoye Sports Vibe in collaboration with the Plateau State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (PLASCHEMA), the event drew participants from different walks of life who came together to celebrate fitness in a lively atmosphere.

Convener Jennifer Okoye expressed joy over the impressive turnout, describing the success as proof that more people are embracing healthy living through walking and regular exercise. She thanked all participants for their energy, commitment, and support for the fitness movement.
From the meeting point at JayFM, beside the National Library, the walk kicked off as early as 7:00 a.m., with participants moving through major routes in Jos while displaying enthusiasm and unity throughout the 15KM stretch.
The event featured music, aerobics, and dance sessions that kept participants motivated and entertained. Many described the experience as refreshing and beneficial for both physical and mental health.
Security agencies, including the Police, FRSC, and Civil Defense, ensured a smooth and safe exercise, while medical teams and the Red Cross were on ground to provide assistance when needed.
The De Amazon Road Waka 4.0 ended on a high note, with participants applauding Jennifer Okoye and her team for organizing another successful edition that continues to promote wellness, friendship, and community spirit across Plateau State.
