The Plateau State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) has released important updates for registered applicants under the HOPE-EDU teaching recruitment programme ahead of the main examination scheduled for Saturday, 19th July 2025.
In a public announcement signed by Richard Nanpon Jonah, Head of Public Relations and Protocol, SUBEB clarified that the portal for the ongoing mock test will remain accessible until midnight on Friday, 18th July.
Applicants who encounter issues accessing their login details are advised to visit their chosen examination centres on the day of the exam and seek help from the centre supervisors.
To ensure smooth conduct of the examination, centre supervisors have been instructed to relocate affected centres to nearby conducive locations in case of any network failure.
All registered candidates are required to bring a fully charged Android phone, loaded with sufficient data, to participate in the computer-based test.
Applicants are expected to arrive at their respective centres by or before 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, 19th July.
SUBEB emphasized that this exercise is strictly for applicants who registered on the official application portal.
Those who did not complete their registration on the Plateau SUBEB website are advised not to show up for the examination.
The recruitment drive under the HOPE-EDU Programme aims to address the shortage of teachers across basic education schools in Plateau State.
This announcement comes as part of the board’s effort to ensure clarity and a seamless examination process for all involved.
