The Councilor representing Bukuru Ward in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State, Rt. Hon. Joseph Pam Choji, has extended warm Sallah greetings to his constituents and the Muslim faithful on the occasion of Eid-Al-Kabir.
In his goodwill message, the Councilor described the celebration as a period of reflection, sacrifice, and spiritual renewal for Muslims around the world.
He emphasized the importance of peaceful coexistence among people of different religious and ethnic backgrounds, especially in Plateau State, which has experienced its share of unrest in recent times.
“Eid-Al-Kabir is a time of sacrifice, reflection, and renewal of faith. It reminds us of the virtues of obedience, compassion, and unity,” he said.
Rt. Hon. Choji called on the people of Bukuru Ward and Jos South at large to continue fostering peace and promoting love within their communities, using the festive season as a unifying platform.
“Let us use this season to strengthen the bonds of love, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence within our communities,” the Councilor stated.
He prayed for divine blessings upon the people, expressing optimism that the celebration would bring lasting joy and progress to all.
“I pray that this celebration brings joy, blessings, and prosperity to every household. May Allah accept our prayers and sacrifices, and may peace continue to reign in Bukuru Ward, Jos South, Plateau State, and Nigeria at large.”
Rt. Hon. Choji also reaffirmed his commitment to the development of Bukuru Ward, pledging to work with all stakeholders in promoting inclusive governance and grassroots progress.
