As the world marks Workers’ Day on May 1st, the Directors of Research, Planning, and Documentation across the Local Governments in Plateau State have extended a heartfelt goodwill message to the state’s workforce.
In a statement signed by the Forum Chairman, Pam Gabriel Pam, the directors hailed Plateau workers for their “resilience, dedication, and unwavering commitment” to societal development.
The message emphasized that workers in every sector, from government and education to healthcare and private enterprise remain central to the growth and prosperity of Plateau State.
“Your labour is the engine that drives progress, innovation, and sustainable development,” the directors said, acknowledging the vital role of the workforce in building strong communities.
Despite challenges, the forum commended workers for remaining tireless in their service, stating, “Your work inspires hope and charts a course for a better tomorrow for our children and generations to come.”
The directors called on workers to uphold values of excellence, integrity, and unity in the discharge of their duties to help realize a Plateau where “opportunities abound for all.”
They expressed hope that the celebration would reignite a collective drive for service, justice, and prosperity in the state and the nation at large.
“Happy Workers’ Day! Long live Plateau State! Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria!” the message concluded.
