The Puus Daar 2025 festival, a colorful celebration of the Mangun people’s cultural heritage, was recently held in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State.

Hon. Dr. I.D Lalu, the member representing Mangu/Bokkos Federal Constituency, attended the festival alongside other notable dignitaries.

He was joined by Hon. Amos Daniel, Chairman of the House Service Committee at the National Assembly, who served as Chairman of the occasion.

Also present were Hon. Mathew Donatus, Hon. Edward Masha, PDP Chairman of Kaduna State, and Hon. Rufus Bature, APC Chairman of Plateau State.

The festival witnessed generous donations toward the development of the Mangun community.

Hon. Amos Daniel made a remarkable donation of N10 million, showing his support and admiration for the people and their heritage.

In his address, Hon. Dr. Lalu emphasized the importance of peace and unity in community building.

“Unity is the foundation upon which progress and development are built,” he told the gathering.

He also reiterated his commitment to the welfare of his constituents, noting that cultural events like Puus Daar play a vital role in fostering harmony.

The lawmaker commended the organizers of the event for preserving the cultural identity of the Mangun people through such a vibrant platform.
