President Bola Tinubu received congratulations from Yakubu Pam, the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission, on his Supreme Court triumph, which upheld his election as the head of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and described it as “well deserved” and “hard-earned.”
The head of the NCPC said in a statement on Thursday night that the Supreme Court’s ruling had “put an end to all the election petitions concerning the Presidential Election of 2023.”
Pam called the ruling “a victory for democracy” and said it will allow the President to concentrate on good government and bring all Nigerians the benefits of democracy.
“I sincerely congratulate our dear President Bola Tinubu, GCFR, on his Supreme court affirmation as the duly elected President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the 2023 Presidential Election,” the statement says in part.
This is a hard-earned and well-deserved victory. It does, in fact, demonstrate that nothing worthwhile comes easily.
All election petitions pertaining to the 2023 presidential election have been dismissed by the Supreme Court’s historic unanimous decision on Thursday, October 26, 2023.
It is therefore a triumph for democracy and the rule of law, as well as for all of Nigeria’s wonderful people.
If nothing else, this historic ruling would allow Mr. President to concentrate on effective governance by delivering the long-awaited benefits of democracy to every Nigerian, irrespective of ethnicity, religion, or political stance.
Furthermore, it will facilitate the accomplishment of the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Nigeria is seeing a new dawn, and we praise God for it.
