One cat is said to have very little chance of surviving in a pit full of pythons. The state of Plateau is experiencing a national tragedy, and the federal government cannot stand by while criminals continue to massacre innocent residents. It’s time to put some questions to the Federal Government: Are these criminals more powerful than the government? Who is funding these heinous crimes in the Plateau state that result in the deaths of innocent citizens? How will the residents of Plateau State withstand this assault given the inadequate security agency protection?
Since criminals are enjoying a field day, many residents of Plateau State have continued to flee their homes out of fear of ongoing attacks. The Federal Government is in charge of defending the lives and assets of its citizens. Enough is enough. What offence did they commit to warrant death?
I believe that moving the Inspector General of Police’s office from Abuja to Plateau State and asking him to remain there until these criminals are apprehended and brought to justice—as the state’s commissioner of police is unable to handle this alone—is what the federal government can do to prevent the recurrence of these senseless killings in Plateau State.
