Member representing Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam (PKK) Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Adamu Gagdi, has assured his constituents that his third term in office will bring greater development and improved representation.

Gagdi gave the assurance on Thursday during the flag-off of the rehabilitation of the Babban-Lamba–Sharam Phase II Road in Kanke Local Government Area of Plateau State.

He expressed appreciation to the people of Pankshin, Kanke and Kanam for their continued confidence in his leadership, saying their support over the years has strengthened his resolve to deliver quality representation.

“You did not regret sending me to the National Assembly for the first term. You did not regret sending me for the second term, and by the grace of God, you will not regret sending me for the third term.”

The lawmaker pledged to sustain effective representation by attracting more federal projects, improving infrastructure, and expanding opportunities in education, healthcare and youth empowerment across the constituency.

Gagdi described the rehabilitation of the Babban-Lamba–Sharam Phase II Road as a major intervention that would improve transportation, boost agriculture and stimulate commercial activities in Plateau State and neighbouring states.

“This road is more than an infrastructure project. It is an economic lifeline that will ease the movement of farm produce, promote trade and improve the livelihoods of our people.”

He also commended the growing collaboration between Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang and APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, saying the partnership would attract more federal presence and accelerate development across the state.

“The spirit of cooperation we are witnessing today will open more doors for Plateau State. When leaders work together, the people are the greatest beneficiaries.”

The federal lawmaker further praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as the equitable distribution of infrastructure projects across the country, noting that the road project reflects the administration’s commitment to inclusive development.

He urged residents of Plateau State and Nigerians to continue supporting the Federal Government, expressing confidence that ongoing reforms would produce lasting benefits.

“I appeal to our people to continue supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The investments in infrastructure and other critical sectors will translate into greater dividends of democracy for all Nigerians.”
