On this momentous occasion marking the celebration of Nigeria’s Independence Day, I extend warm and heartfelt greetings to the management, staff, and entire student body of Plateau State Polytechnic, as well as to all Nigerians, both at home and in the diaspora.
On behalf of the Students’ Union Government, I wish to express deep appreciation to the Rector of this prestigious institution, Mr CLEMENT CIRMAN whose visionary leadership continues to inspire excellence within our academic community. I also salute His Excellency, *Governor Caleb Mutfwang*, for his unwavering commitment to the progress of Plateau State, and His Excellency, *President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR*, for steering the nation through this defining period.
Independence Day is not merely a ceremonial date—it is a solemn remembrance of the sacrifices of our founding fathers and fallen heroes who fought valiantly for our collective freedom. Their courage, resilience, and selflessness paved the way for the liberties we now enjoy. It is upon their sacrifices that the foundation of our nation was laid.
As we reflect on the journey of our nation, let us draw strength from our past and channel it into building a united, peaceful, and prosperous Nigeria. Let us rekindle the spirit of patriotism, foster tolerance amidst our diversity, and remain steadfast in our commitment to nation-building.
*I also use this opportunity to wish all students a Happy New Month.* May this new month bring renewed focus, academic success, and personal growth to everyone in our community.
May this Independence Day ignite in us a renewed sense of responsibility—especially as students and future leaders—to play our part in shaping a Nigeria where justice, equity, and development reign.
*Happy Independence Day, Nigeria!*
*Happy New Month to all Students!*
*Long Live Plateau State Polytechnic!*
*Long Live the Federal Republic of Nigeria!*
