The Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON), has awarded the mandatory conformity Assessment programme (MANCAP) certification for three products of Feel Good System Engineering Services Ltd.
Mr Kenneth Shawo, The North-Central coordinator of SON, presented the certificates to the management of the company on Thursday in Jos.
The three certified products included, water resistance screeding paints, POP water resistance cement and Rigid Crete water proof cement.
He said the certification followed rigorous inspection, testing and confirmation that the two products had met the required standards for quality and safety.
Shawo maintained that the certification was in line with its mandate of promoting standardisation and ensuring that products manufactured in the country compete favourable locally and internationally.
“This certification is a testament that Feel Good System Engineering Services Ltd has met the minimum requirements of the Nigerian industrial standards.
“We urge you to maintain the standard,”he said.
The coordinator advised other manufacturers in the state to emulate the company by submitting their products for certification, adding that such move would boost consumers’ confidence and economic growth.
In his response, Mr Emmanuel Amedu, the Managing Director of the company, thanked SON for the certification and pledged that the company would continue to ensure quality and standards.
Amedu added that the certification would boost customer’s confidence and expand the market reach of its products.
MANCAP scheme is designed to ensure that locally manufactured products conform to relevant industrial standards before they are presented for sale in the market.
