A few weeks after he sponsored a Bill for the Creation of National Council of Traditional Rulers, Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District, Simon Bako Lalong has sponsored another bill which was passed first reading at the floor of the Senate today (17th October 2024).
The Bill when passed is expected to address the issue of unemployment and jobs using the agricultural sector where rather than roam around to look for non-existent jobs, graduates of Nigerian Agricultural Institutions and Colleges will go ahead to create opportunities in line with their training and research.
Senator Lalong who is the Chairman Senate Committee on Agricultural Institutions and Colleges seeks to ensure that all research findings and experiments generated by Agricultural Institutions and Colleges are turned into entrepreneurship opportunities.
