Senator Natasha H Akpoti Uduaghan, Senator representing Kogi Central has issued a strong message to the Minister of Defence, Gen. Christopher Musa, following the recent killings in Angwan Rukuba, Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State, describing the incident as a painful reminder of Nigeria’s worsening insecurity.

In a statement, the lawmaker said the tragedy underscores the urgent need for decisive military action to protect lives and restore public confidence in the nation’s security architecture.

“Angwan Rukuba serves as a grim reminder of the insecurity Nigerians face. Your promises during the Senate screening raised hopes, but now is the time for tangible results,” she stated.

Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan stressed that Nigerians are no longer satisfied with words of sympathy, insisting that concrete action must replace repeated assurances.

“Secure lives, or consider stepping aside. Nigerians are no longer placated by condolences and excuses; they demand action, protection, and results,” she declared.
