Plateau State has recorded a historic moment as Hon. Ziphion Chrysanthus became the first civilian to graduate from the prestigious Defence College course.

The Defence College program, widely respected for grooming top-ranking military officers, had never before seen a civilian among its graduates.

Pharmacist John Chun, Director of the Plateau State Liaison Office in Abuja, expressed joy over the development in a public statement.

“This is to congratulate my dear friend, colleague, and indeed a brother, Hon. Ziphion John Chrysanthus.”

Chun praised Ziphion’s commitment to personal growth and humanity, describing the achievement as a testament to hard work and resilience.

“Your graduation as the first civilian to attend the prestigious Defence college course alongside top military brass is a testament to your resilience, dedication, and quest for self-development and eventual passion for humanity.”

He also acknowledged the support of Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang for creating the platform that enabled Plateau to achieve this historic feat.

“Let me thank his excellency Barr Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang for making this possible for Plateau State to have the first civilian to bag the title of the ‘Fellow of Defense College’ fdc.”

Chun concluded his message with words of encouragement and pride for his colleague.

“Keep breaking new grounds, my dear brother. Congratulations,” he added.
