In a very unfortunate turn of events, a 200-level student of the Computer Science Department of the Federal University Dutsin-Ma (FUDMA), Katsina State, simply named as Abubakar, has been confirmed deceased.
He died as a result of a fight between students over a relationship with a female classmate.
According to the state police command’s spokesperson, ASP Abubakar Sadiq, the unfortunate event involving eight university students occurred on Thursday about 1:20 p.m. at Darawa quarters, Dutsinma LGA, Katsina State. He stated that the incident occurred as a consequence of a heated argument between the kids, which escalated and resulted in the death of one of the pupils involved.
