Plateau United General Manager Habila Mutla stated that selecting Mbwas Mangut as the team’s head coach was not a mistake.
Mangut was hired following the departure of Fidelis Ilechukwu from the club at the commencement of the 2023-24 Nigeria Premier Football League season.
This season, Mangut has led the Peace Boys to three victories, one tie, and three loses in seven games.
Mutla believed that the best was yet to come from the Tin City outfit.
“We have set ourselves a target at the start of the NPFL season, which we have begun to realise,” Mutla told Plateau United media.
“We still have quality away matches to play but the best of our team is yet to be seen. The team is almost in shape because of our philosophy and what we believe in.
“Looking at the Nigerian coaches, I know we have not made a mistake in bringing back Mbwas Mangut to the club.”
