Today, we celebrate the birth of the nation we have grown to love and call our home.
Independence Day holds profound meaning for all of us and it is a constant reminder of the enduring principles of liberty, democracy, and unity that have shaped our great nation throughout its history.
On behalf of myself, family, staff and management of my ministry, women leaders, stakeholders, the beautiful and hard-working women of Plateau State, I want to specially congratulate the peace loving people of Plateau state and indeed all Nigerians on the auspicious occasion of our 63rd Independence anniversary.
Special felicitation to the captain of the TIME IS NOW mantra, his Excellency Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, the executive governor of Plateau State, who has demonstrated exceptional and transformational leadership prowess in repositioning our state to a path of success, wealth creation and prosperity inspite of the numerous challenges this administration met on ground.
I want to call on Plateau citizens at home and in diaspora to continue to show great solidarity, support and patriotism towards this administration that is so determined to pilot the affairs of this state to an enviable height.
Inspite of the effects of the insecurity and fuel subsidy removal which has predisposed citizens to harsh economic realities.
Let me charge us all to remain resolute, focused and committed to our own participatory roles in building Plateau State, as this administration is a responsible one and in due time will roll out its on palliative measures that will bring the much anticipated succour to the citizens.
Special thanks to our most amiable gender-sensitive Governor, his Excellency, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang for his strong political will, viable policies and passion displayed so far for the growth and development of children, women and the vulnerable in the society.
This is to wishing us all a happy new month and a blissful independence anniversary celebration.
Long live Plateau State!
Long live Nigeria!
Hon. Caroline Panglang Dafur
