The Executive Secretary, Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, NCPC, Rev. Dr. Yakubu Pam, urged the commission’s staff to work together to create a capable and productive workforce.
At The Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission’s promotion examination for eligible staff across the board, from grade level 4 to 14, Rev. Yakubu Pam made this public.
The promotion examination was held on September 13, 2023, at the Commission’s corporate office in Abuja.
Rev. Yakubu Pam exhorted them to constantly have the Commission’s future in mind. He went on to say that if they maintained their focus and purpose, their goals and aspirations will come true.
They were warned not to mock the early days by him. The days of small beginnings, he said, “no one should take it for granted; if you are faithful in a little, God can enlarge it.”
In addition, Rev. Pam asserted that “greater things are hidden in small things.”
He underlined that this type of promotion examination was a measure of allegiance and dedication to the Commission and society at large.
He emphasised that management would keep making sure that employee motivation remained non-negotiable. It will therefore be a joy to see all of you promoted, he continued.
Furthermore, he counselled them to avoid exam mania and to unwind because he was confident they would all perform well.
Staff from the headquarters and the six zonal offices of the Commission participated in the promotion exams.
